The Ugly Stik Gold 601MH Spinning Boat Rod belongs to the Ugly Stik Gold Series of rods which feature the newly engineered Ugly Stik Howald Process. This uses Triple Built construction around an internal spiral fibreglass core. Parallel glass fibres infused with pigmented polyester resin create a strong yet sensitive rod with better balance that is virtually indestructible.

The latest Inter-Core is an innovative design process that surrounds graphite shaft fibres in the outer walls with a Rigid Wrap structure. The new process provides greater stiffness and superior strength throughout the blank's shaft. This creates a better taper from the backbone of the blank to the tip that provides extra sensitivity and best casting accuracy.


Fuji New Concept Guide
Ugly Stik Gold series rods are equipped with full Fuji New Concept Guides, which are specially designed with higher supports for tangle-free fishing.
